As a result of the strong response to The Golden Years...The Florida Legislature, '70s and '80s, both public and private cable television stations have expressed an interest in producing historical documentaries, based on the book. Since advertising is prohibited in the production of these documentaries, there is an opportunity for the public to participate in the underwriting of the programming.
The fund raising opportunity is to help participate in the production of television documentaries highlighting Florida's progressive political changes, its' challenges, and the individualsinvolved. The programming is expected to air on Public and Cable Television stations in 2009.
Suggested levels of participation are $50, $100, and $500. Contributors will be provided signed copies of The Golden Years and copies of the television production in CD form. (the greater the contribution, the more books and CDs provided).
